I used the services of Connect Eco Builders (SSJB Contractors LTD) for my home beginning in October 2021. It was full reconfiguration, refit and decoration of downstairs including garage conversion, kitchen relocation & upgrade, porch build, w/c removal, attic upgrade and underfloor heating installation.I chose to use the services as the communication from the start was the best of any builder I contacted (which is critical in such projects) and the quote was the amongst most competitive. And I’m very glad with this decision as the project & process was very smooth from start to finish.The quality of the end photos speak for themselves, but the things I was most impressed by were:- Jafer’s responsiveness to calls (he always picks up or calls back asap never leaving you hanging- very fair price for variations / expansions of project (where other builders are known to take advantage) and always adhering to agreed prices- high quality of finish (estate agents have even remarked at this)- Jafer’s knowledge of regulations and adherence to doing things in a proper way (i.e. no shortcuts)- Jafer & the teams suggestions which certainly helped the end designAnd a special thanks to a couple of others on his team - Naz (who was a highly skilled & professional on-site project manager) and Andrew (who is a master tiler). We worked with Jafer and his team from Connect Eco Builders (SSJB Contractors Ltd) for a large demolition and complete new rebuild of a 3-storey detached house. From beginning to end, over a year in duration, it has been a real pleasure to work with him, his company and his team. The quality of work, as has been mentioned independently by surveyors and building regulations, has been excellent.Given the size of the project and that we have encountered negligible surprises is testament to the attention to detail and forwardness that the company offers as part of their detailed quote.When challenges are faced that require changes to the original plan, the team are proactive in discussing these at an early stage and making suitable recommendations.As the project involved a complete rebuild, it included demolition, foundations, first fix/second fix, interior decoration, etc and there is not enough detail that I could provide on these to explain the quality at each stage to do it justice.I understand that this project was the first of this scale for the company and given the broad knowledge and skills that are possessed, we did not encounter any issues.I look forward to working again in the future and wish them the very best in all future projects.
